UpNext Terms of Service
This page is a plain-language summary. UpNext’s full Terms of Service and Community Guidelines are being finalised with our lawyers and will be published on this page. Until then, this summary describes the rules the app enforces today.
The short version
- UpNext is in beta. It’s on TestFlight, by invite only. Features can change, and things can break while we build.
- You need to be 13 or older. Teen accounts (13 to 17) have extra protections.
- One Avlory ID. You sign in with your Avlory ID, the same one as Waverate and PennySphere. Each app keeps its own data. Avlory’s account terms and privacy policy apply to your Avlory ID.
- Your posts are yours. Post what you made or have the rights to share. You give us permission to show them to the people you share them with.
- Follow the community guidelines. Read the summary of the guidelines. Breaking them can get posts removed, messaging paused or an account closed. You can appeal a decision from the app.
- Private chats stay private. Chats are end-to-end encrypted, readable by the people in them. If you report a chat, we see what you choose to send with the report.
- You can leave. You can close your account from the app’s settings.
